Don't activate SAR.

Dear friends who might be following my posts: please don't worry if you won't hear much from me during the next 4 weeks or so. For I'll be away to my beautiful island of Gran Canaria. My old bones need some warm sunrays. And my eyes need to see the blue skies and the blue mountains in the distance. And to smell the salty spray Atlantic ocean.

Should you want to see pictures of the place, please follow the link to my flickr photostream.

Take care all, see you soon!

Just a little bit...

I'm juuuuuuust a little biiiiiiiiit bewildered tonight - we went to a (family) meeting today and I re-met a former swift acquaintance of mine. A lovely lady in her 30s or so, slim, preeeeetty face, even preeeeeettier dark eyes, pretty tall, and with long dark hair.
I had come to think that certain feelings (♥) would have more or less vanished at this time of my life (haha, see title of this blog), but (there's always a butt you know), this luckily seems not to be the case: a beautiful lady (even more one of the type which I like) still has the power to inspire my feelings, even to open a bit that small flask which carries the label on it: "Caution, beware of contents, can be poisonous, even has the power to turn your life upside down"....

What a powerful thing emotion is........................

About Deborah D. Lattimore.

Deborah is one of my flickr friends. She's a very talented photographer who wouldn't hesitate to let other people participate in her ways how to create perfect photos together with the interesting stories behind them.
She's been going through a terrible ordeal these days, she's been fighting cancer, and she wants as many people as possible to learn her story, and to insinuate to them to do regular screenings. This is a very amazing story in itself.

For more you can get an audio interview with her buy pressing the following button. The audio article will take some 45 minutes of your time. Enjoy!

On Leadership.

Personally I don't need a LEADER at all. I'm a Free Responsible Adult who only needs an ORGANIZER.

On Economics.

I know nothing about Economics:

This phrase I read/hear so often, even I didn't know anything about it, except how to keep a household journal (cash flow statement).

Then I read a few books for self study on the subject, and that's why it's now driving me mad when I see how stupidly "leaders" deal with the subject.

To start with, basic economics should be taught already in nursery school (the basic stuff)and then refined in higher grades.
The subject is very complex, and I have the impression our leadership is all too glad that not too many people understand what's going on with our money (eg taxes), what money REALLY is!

I love this photo.

So why? Why do I love this photo? Because it was taken with a simple no frills camera? Yes, for that simple camera produced not just a simple picture, but a watercolour painting! For more details both on where and when and how this picture was taken, go to my photo collection on flickr.

Using a simple camera doesn't mean that the photos taken with it are scrap, not at all. Simplicity of technology sometimes enhances the result! This used to be true with the first camera which I owned, a KODAK Instamatic 50 camera, which I still have.

New Idea for My Postings

Ha, you see I loooooooove colours, btw. And playing with them. And using them for writing my posts.

CEO's bonuses, Tax, Janitors, Public Servants, Companies

There's an actual need to promote this:-

What would you think of a company which has trillions (USA) or billions (Germany) of dollars/Euros in debt, even though there's regular monthly cash inflow????
Not much thinking, I guess, the company would vanish, vaporize in the cruel but just market environment, before you could even formulate a thought.

Bah, and the state leaders (I'll call them janitors) still go on and on and on, shedding their monthly regular income (= our taxes) not only into all possible directions, but also out of the window, in heaps!
OUR MONEY!!! But they themselves are still well off, with all those bonuses which WE PAY THEM!
Wheres the balance sheet?? Where's the Income Statement??? Where's the Cash Flow Statement????

All this is topped by their accusing real life CEOs of getting those (economically totally irrelevant, but symbolically important) bonuses.

Ok, that's it. I'll stop here. I don't want to ruin my day.
But think about it!!

Life Art - On Partnership

Friends - Gays - Lesbians.

How's that? What a topic?? Monsieur, monsieur - mon dieu!!
How comes I picked this topic?? Well, it's easy: I call some lesbian couple(s) my best friends.

And what is my attitude??
Frankly, I must say I can't imagine living and having a sexual life with a male partner. But (there's always a butt, ya know), but: if this person had a female-like body, ie not too much hair, not too many muscles, soft skin, nice long calves etc, there MIGHT be a chance... but not an actual desire.

When I was in my teens, I felt strongly attracted to other beautiful-looking male mates, I remember yearning strongly for one or two of them. I even dreamt of them, had sexual imaginations, and so on. But today, that's all gone, I'm definitely a hetero. When you're young, you're finding out your way how to live on this planet, and that includes exploring persons of the same sex.

It's different when it comes to lesbians. When I was in London a while ago, I came across a bookshop for gays, I went in and had a look, nosey me.

I found some books about lesbians, in fact I only was looking for them, not for gays, or homos. And I saw very beautiful photos of loving couples, and wonderful stories about their lives and togetherness.
I need to say again, I don't condemn the male equivalent, the thing is that I just don't feel attracted by them.

Ok, only recently I've found my new (lesbian) friends on a photo-sharing site, and, apart from the beginning, to me there's nothing special about it, as far as having contact with them is concerned, (well, it is special of course, but I wanted to point out that the lesbian issue isn't showing up all the time. And these friends are special: they are extremely cute!)

In a nutshell, we live (and have always been living) in a changing world, a world of more openness. It's more and more commonly accepted that there's more than just one traditional way of living.

I might perhaps further elaborate my thoughts in a future post; I just wanted to jot down my thoughts right here, as long as they are still in process and fresh.

Feel free to send your comments.

More on Blogger.

As some of you might have noticed, I have somewhat cranked up the frequency of my postings. I feel more and more that this is the perfect instrument to write down and publish one's own thoughts and share them with others, thus getting to know more and more people worldwide.

Thanks to Google!!

Spring is Here!!

Beautiful blue skies, lovely puffy white clouds, a laughing sun, and I even saw the first beautiful girl in a skirt, with bare legs!!

Ha, like them birds, they're flying around like crazy these days, their hormonal system playing havoc.

That's spring! I love it.
