On Socialism, Capitalism and Tax
Socialism is good in a society which has natural resources that can be sold to foreign countries, the outcome of the inevitable tax can be distributed to the population, which will show no incentive to develop new ideas, life might be a bit dull.
Capitalism is the evolutionary consequence of our existence here on earth: we have to struggle for our existence, we invent tools to make our lives easier, we compete with each other to get the most for our hard work. There will be millionaires and broke people. Usually, who works hard is bound to become a millionaire, those who take it easier won't get rich.
Also, capitalism and economy have cycles, just as the universe is based on cycles. Nothing's straight, but everything swings,
Because capitalism is a product of the natural evolution, it seems to be the best system of our economical existence.
It is very important that all children get the education which suits their intelligence, for free. So the poor get the same chance to improve their lives. Here the tax system comes in. A certain (minimal) amount of money is set aside by the state to finance schools and universities.
And that's almost (almost) it what we need taxes for. Unfortunately, during the decades and worldwide, the well-ment tax system has degenerated to an instrument to suck money out of the economy, out of hard-working entrepreneurs and workers. To finance the ideas of the socialists.
The tax system has degenerated to a money machine which functions like an enormous brake for the economy.
