A whole lot of our communications causes, and is based on,
misunderstandings.
That's a built-in feature of languages.

Thus, the characters of people as we perceive them due to the
impression we have acquired of them through our communications with
them, might be (totally) different from their true characters.

This can easily lead to irritations.
