Illusion
When you look around you see only the most beautiful people.
That's just an illusion!
When you get to know a certain person, you get what she is, with all faults. The number of persons with faults by far exceeds the number of those who are perfect.
Only once in a lifetime a perfectly matching couple will meet and start a life of mutual pleasure and fulfilment.
And only as a reward for the atrocities (war, rape, murder) which they had to undergo in both their previous lives.
