... beginning/end ...

Perhaps it is our task here on earth to struggle and bring forward the information which is carried in our genes and which will eventually evolve to a result of some unknown kind.
But why? What for? Why should there be a beginning of a minor quality which would elvolve into something superior?
Will that goal, once it has been achieved, last forever? Or will everything collapse and start anew?
