Looking out of the window, from the plane
The vast blue sea
White ripples on the water
Beautiful islands like gems decorating the scenery in blue

Swimming in the water
Sometimes it's cold sometimes it's warm
Endless waves
Dangerous undercurrents
Will I ever make it to the shore?
Barely able to see past the next crests of the waves
Utterly lonesome
A ship sails by, impossible to reach because of the currents
And it's too far away
