...lovely poem from a dear friend...
I just HAD to steal this wonderful poem which a kind flickr friend of mine posted under one of my pictures:
"The changing of the seasons...... one door closes.... another opens.
I couldn't help but think of a silly poem I used to recite as a child:
'Twas midnight on the ocean,
Not a streetcar was in sight,
The sun was shining brightly
For it had rained all that night.
'Twas a summer's day in winter
The rain was snowing fast,
As a barefoot girl with shoes on,
Stood sitting on the grass."
Thank you kindly, MM.
